Climate tech is showing strong growth as an emerging asset class globally, but the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) has only attracted less than one percent of global investments. ING supports the development of Qair Polska wind farms. The agreement covers a limit of PLN 50 million, covering guarantees and an overdraft facility related to supporting the construction of green projects.

For almost 10 years, the Illiad Group (owner of P4 PLC and the PLAY brand in Poland) has been taking steps to reduce the environmental impact of its operations. The group will invest EUR 1 billion over 15 years to achieve its climate goals.

In the years 2021-2030, the cost of energy generation will increase by 61% if Poland actually implements the scenario of the Polish government's Energy Policy until 2040 (PEP2040). An alternative scenario developed by Instrat could cut costs by 31-50 percent. compared to PEP2040.
