ING provides green financing for Qair Polska

ING supports the development of Qair Polska wind farms. The agreement covers a limit of PLN 50 million, covering guarantees and an overdraft facility related to supporting the construction of green projects.

The multi-currency revolving limit with a total value of PLN 50 million will be used primarily to issue guarantees necessary for the implementation of wind and photovoltaic projects. This is another element of the development of ING’s cooperation with Qair Polska in the area of Trade Finance.

Supporting environmental transformation and financing pro-ecological investments is our strategic direction of operation. With extensive experience, knowledge and financial tools, we help companies to switch to “greener” operations – emphasizes Michał H. Mrożek, Vice President of the Management Board of ING.

ING has so far issued several dozen guarantees for the obligations of the Qair Group, related to amongst others, with the accession to the auction for the sale of electricity from renewable sources and connection works to the distribution networks. All guarantees were issued in electronic form and signed with a qualified signature.
