Colliers, who provide specialist investment services and investment management services, have appointed Oana Stamatin to the position of Director for Environmental Protection, Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance (ESG) in Central and Eastern Europe. In her new role, Oana will be responsible for the implementation of global and regional ESG projects in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.
Prior to joining the new function, Oana Stamatin was Deputy Director of the Green and Healthy Buildings Certification and Construction Appraisal Department at Colliers Romania. She is a recognized specialist in the industry and has achievements including consulting in the field of LEED, BREEAM and WELL certification for over 100 projects with a total area of approximately 3 million sq m. As part of the construction appraisal department, she was also involved in advisory services related to project monitoring and technical due diligence for 3.4 million sq m. commercial spaces
In her new role, Oana will be responsible for the implementation of global ESG goals in the Central and Eastern Europe region, in line with the global approach of Colliers. Introduced in 2021, a new Colliers strategy called Elevate the Built Environment aims to implement ESG best practices in the entire organization. In addition, Oana will develop an ESG education program for employees from Central and Eastern Europe and, together with local offices, will create a marketing and communication strategy for ESG services.
